Book Launch for In the Wake & A Circle on the Surface

The launch was at The Wooden Monkey in Dartmouth and the food was incredible as their view of Halifax Harbour. You should go. 

Carol Bruneau was my mentor through the Alistair Macleod Mentorship Program at the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia. While she was guiding me through draft number four (or so) of my manuscript for In the Wake, she was in the final stages of editing her novel, A Circle on the Surface. Both books came out in the Fall of 2018 with the same publisher, Vagrant Press (the fiction imprint of Nimbus Publishing). Instead of having two separate launches (essentially a book's birthday party) we had one, big one.
