No, I work on location, travelling light. In some cases, I can arrange to use a space. It's all on a case by case basis.
You will find prices & details for Headshots ($105) and Portraits (from $375) on those gallery pages.
For all other work, send me the details and I'll provide you with an estimate.
As much as you ask me to but NOT so much that you look like someone else. You should look like you, but on your best day, after a full night of glorious, dreamless sleep, having consumed nothing but healthful foods and liquids for weeks. Also, I don't want your photos to look dated in ten years, so I don't use filters.
After our session, I'll load your photos to an online Proofing Gallery. You can pick your favourites and let me know if there are any specific touch-ups that you'd like me to do.
When I'm finished, I'll email you a link to download your photos.
Ah. The awkward part. After your photos, I'll send you an invoice for your records.
I used to to do a lot of weddings when I lived in Canmore, Alberta. People love the mountains as a backdrop to their big day.
Since moving back to Nova Scotia (2013), I've worked as a second shooter for other wedding photographers instead. A full wedding day is a marathon for a professional photographer and I'm trying to write novels over here...
BUT I still do the occasional, (very) small wedding because I love them and I'm a sucker for wedding speeches.
Let me know what you have in mind. I can show you a gallery of my work upon request.
There are some incredibly talented local photographers that do this. They have soft lighting, backdrops, props, sweet little outfits ... and they know just how to time things so that your baby looks like they were born to model. I recommend you find one of them.
That said, I will do sessions at home in a more documentary style - natural light, no props or backgrounds. I love babies and pets and the story of family lives in general.
Yes, I do. Soon, you'll find a link in the Photography menu. I hope.
I've been shooting people, I mean doing portraits, since 2008. How did a decade go by so quickly?
